At People House, we believe the first step to becoming the best that we can be is to accept our total self as we are now and the experience of life as an opportunity for growth. By teaching and practicing compassion and accepting each individual for who and what they are in the here and now, it enables us to create love, joy, peace, and fulfillment in our life experience. We offer programs that advocate for living a life of conscious awareness and responsibility, while acknowledging that we are each constantly progressing along a unique path where we will all need some help somewhere along the way.
Our Services
Affordable Counseling Program
We offer affordable, holistic counseling to those who might otherwise be unable to experience the transformative power and support of professional counseling. Our perspective is holistic, starting with the premise that the development and integration of mind, body, and spirit is necessary to become healthy, fulfilled, and productive.
Practitioners
You can find a variety of holistic professionals at People House. Our practitioners conduct their practice of healing, education and/or growth according to the ethics and guidelines of their particular field. In addition, they maintain a belief in the wisdom of the individual that is in harmony with the basic People House philosophy.
Counseling Internship Placements
This is an ideal site for individuals who are Master’s level student in counseling, psychology or marriage and family therapy and thrive in a supportive environment that also requires personal independence and team collaboration. It is best suited to mature candidates who eventually plan to do private practice, although that is not a requirement.
Spiritual Community
At People House, we believe in a few, simple guidelines, which help us increase our experience of Love. These are suggestions, not requirements. We encourage investigation and consideration of all beliefs.

He went where polluted air hung thick, where sewage flowed in open drains down the edges of the narrow dirt roads, where families…
