Wed
the good in BAD BRAIN recognition @ Relationship Communication
Feb 21 @ 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Because relationships are at best convoluted, what our own behavior is intended to display versus what it is seen as by others, only adds to the intricacy of being human. While we cannot control others, we can take action for our part in our every day relationships beginning with what you can control- you. This workshop will help you explore and identify behavior that is both healthy and unhealthy, including what can be viewed or displayed as toxic. Some behaviors that are or can be toxic include blaming others and belligerence Within the realm of behaviors, we recognize that choice is given to us whether it is a situation we put ourselves in, or how we choose to react or respond in a situation that was presented to us by external forces.

B is for Blame

              Belligerence

               Blackmail

               Backsliding

               Belittling

A for recognizing aggression

D for damaging

To end this workshop, we look at methods and techniques that can be practiced every day to make positive and healthy changes for your self-improvement, growth, and happiness in relationships.

B is for behavior

R is for respond not react

A means accountability

I for I not you

No nagging

Myers Briggs Type Indicator Personality Workshop @ Personality and Communication
Feb 24 @ 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Though the Myers Briggs Testing has several different types of assessments to take, this workshop will focus on what your personality style is. This in-depth four-hour workshop covers areas such as what does your personality style mean? How can it explain your behaviors and interactions with others? A combination of 16 traits in this assessment explores what that entails for you based on a self-report assessment. Your traits are looped into a 4 digit type that represents how you see yourself.  Are you an extravert or an introvert? Are you intuitive or sensing? thinking or feeling? do you live for the moment or are you the planning type? Because this workshop covers extensive interpretation, activities, hands-on exercises, and group exploration and discussion, along with how you relate to others in communication, the more you reveal about yourself, can you help understand how you evaluate and choose others as significant in your life.
