Craig Freund MA, LPC
Men often experience their mental health in ways that are unique to them, commonly influenced by societal and cultural expectations. For this reason, men in therapy benefit most when working with a therapist who truly understands men’s issues. As a male therapist my practice has been tailored towards supporting men through relationship issues, trauma, as well as career, stress and other personal struggles. My goal as a therapist is to help men and their families to find their true potential in living happy and successful lives. Providing a judgement free environment with true empathy and unconditional positive regard, I work from an integrative and practical perspective, striving for both immediate and long lasting changes. Preferred modalities and therapeutic perspectives include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solutions focused brief therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), as well as a psychodynamic and trauma informed approach that incorporates the influence of the unconscious mind and aspects of the human experience.
